Who is responsible
BEYOND EDITS LTD (company number 17329401), trading as Beyond Edits, is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. Our registered office is Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE. Our production team works in Bangladesh. Contact raihan@beyondedits.agency about your information or this notice.
Project enquiries
When you send a project brief, we receive your name, email address, brand or channel information, content type, expected volume, budget range, timing and message. We use these details to understand the project, respond and prepare a proposal. Framer sends enquiries to our designated email inbox and the restricted Client Leads Intake Sheet in Google Sheets. We may review the public channel or portfolio you share.
Providing a brief is optional. We need enough information to respond and assess the work. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or material you do not have permission to share. We use the details to take steps you request before a contract, or for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. An enquiry does not sign you up for a newsletter.
Calls and booking
Our booking page embeds Calendly. When you load the calendar, choose a time or book a call, Calendly processes the information needed to arrange it. We use booking details to prepare for and manage your call. Calendly’s privacy notice explains its own processing.
Job applications
The Careers form collects contact details, location, experience, relevant work links and answers, availability, work preferences and optional salary expectations. Questions vary by role and work location. The new Careers form sends applications through Cloudflare to our private Careers Applications database in Notion. Applications collected through our previous form are stored separately in a restricted Google Sheet. The new form does not send applications to that Sheet. We use them to assess your suitability and communicate about your application. We do not request age or large media uploads, or use this form to make solely automated hiring decisions.
Website and production services
Framer hosts this website and processes native forms. Project enquiries and client onboarding are delivered to our designated email inbox and separate restricted Google Sheets. The new recruitment system uses Cloudflare to receive applications and Notion to store them. Our booking page uses Calendly. Access is restricted to authorised people who need the information for their work. Additional production tools and data-handling terms are agreed separately if a project proceeds.
The site uses Framer’s built-in analytics to understand visits and page usage. External booking, video and social services may process technical information when you load or interact with them; their privacy notices explain that processing.
How long we keep information
General enquiries. We delete or irreversibly anonymise general enquiries after 12 months without meaningful activity relating to the enquiry. This period runs from the last substantive exchange or action concerning your enquiry. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, information needed to deliver the work or meet legal obligations is handled under the relevant client-record retention rules.
Unsuccessful applications. We delete unsuccessful applications 6 months after the final decision is communicated to the applicant. This covers application details, work links and recruitment assessment records that are no longer needed. We do not keep an unsuccessful application indefinitely for possible future vacancies.
Hired applicants. If you are hired, we transfer only information relevant to your employment into the employee/HR record. That information follows the applicable employment-record retention policy, which is provided separately. We remove unnecessary recruitment information rather than keeping the original application indefinitely.
Necessary exceptions. We may keep limited information beyond these periods where required by a specific legal obligation or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We document the reason, limit access and review the need to retain it. We delete it when that reason no longer applies.
Deletion and anonymisation. These rules apply to the copies we control, including relevant email, spreadsheet, database and exported records. Anonymisation must prevent identification, rather than simply remove your name. Service-provider backup and recovery copies are managed under their applicable deletion cycles and access restrictions.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and the reason we use your information, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy by emailing raihan@beyondedits.agency. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing. If we ask for consent for a separate purpose, you can withdraw it without affecting processing that already took place.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local EU data protection authority. We would also welcome the chance to address your concern directly.
